Mission Statement

The mission of the Mid-Coast Veterans Alliance (MCVA) is to support the community, its veterans and associate members. The MCVA is committed to working with organizations whose primary purpose is veteran support to members and former members of all U.S. branches of service and their families.  MCVA will work with the Veterans Administration (VA), Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and the California Department of Veterans Affairs (CALVET) to meet its mission objective.  We will actively support community veteran centers and clinics in Ventura County, Santa Barbara County and San Luis Obispo County. The MCVA will make the advocacy of veteran issues to include POW/MIA's, Agent Orange concerns, veteran’s rights, benefits, and personal welfare a priority.

The MCVA will work faithfully with the Tri-Counties of Central California and other state and federal agencies to realize the common goal of supporting veterans, their families and the community overall.
